Job Description

The role of a Senior Manager: ICT is responsible for driving the strategy and digitization efforts at EWSC, by leveraging technology to improve efficiency, innovation, and customer service within the corporation. It is pivotal for the water corporation’s success in adapting to the digital age and addressing the challenges of water management in an increasingly complex environment.

The role is accountable for giving ICT leadership to help drive innovation, improve efficiency, and contribute to the sustainable management of water resources.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Understanding of network architecture, hardware, servers, databases, and cloud computing to oversee the ICT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, enterprise software solutions, and application lifecycle management.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Understanding of water distribution, treatment processes, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific challenges.
• Ability to align ICT strategies with overall corporate goals and drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Capable of making informed and timely decisions, considering both technical and business aspects.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
• IT-related post graduate qualification
• 8 years’ experience in and information services environment, including 5 years Management experience.
